Our CSR Priorities

As part of its social contribution activities, South Asian Rubbers carries out support activities for employees and also in conservation of nature. Continuing those efforts, going forward we will contribute to a healthy and prosperous life for everyone by means of "sustainable development with society" and creating new value in a wide range of fields related to medical care and health as a "health creator."
This basic philosophy lives on in the idea that achieving our corporate principle of putting a smile on every face .

Women Empowerment

It is said that educational attainment and economic participation are the key constituents in ensuring the empowerment of women. We emphasis on creating more job opportunities for women for better gender equality and overall well being of women in current rural scenario. In Kerala a good number of women in rural areas are housewives. By creating more jobs for women helps them in having extra income for family support whcih leads to significant and positive changes in human development since its largely spent on childrens education, health and nutrition. It also helps them in raising responsible future generation. We currently employ over 100 women in our establishments, both in skilled and unskilled labour areas and at office. We also regularly condunt training and other cultural programmes to enhance their overall skills and well being

Environmental Responsibility

we recognize that one of the greatest challenges of the 21st century will be protecting the global environment, and we aim to be the best partner by contributing to a healthy earth and a world where each and every person is healthy and has a fulfilling life full of smiles. To that end, we will strive for continued improvements by establishing and implementing an environment management system based on contribution to sustainability by means of resource and energy conservation, reduction and recycling of waste, reduction of CO2 emissions, and improvement of operational efficiency in our company with the local community, not to mention complying with all environment-related laws, legislation, and agreements. In order to ensure that this environmental policy bears fruit, we will make sure that our employees and relevant parties are fully aware of it, and we will make an effort to gain the understanding of the general public through disclosure of our policy.
